Monster.com, the job matching engine and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide, Inc. launched SeeMore™, the world’s first cloud-based semantic search and analytics platform for managing companies’ own resume databases. Built on Monster’s multi-patented, highly successful 6Sense® semantic search technology, SeeMore™ now allows companies to search all of their recruitment resources and talent pools from one place so they can easily identify, access and match their talent.
SeeMore™ offers customers a SaaS platform that applies powerful 6Sense semantic search technology that understands concepts and context of talent-related information, such as skills and experience, to all of their candidate pools. It also provides analytics that present detailed insights into the composition of talent pools – both internal and external – so that HR functions within a company can operate more efficiently and effectively, focusing more strategically on assessing all of their talent needs and achieve real ROI.
SeeMore™ is currently in beta with a select group of large brand-name enterprise companies including MRINetwork, US Cellular, Celgene and others and will now be available to customers in the US and UK. Monster Worldwide has also integrated the solution as a key component of our global talent management strategy.
“With the introduction of SeeMore™, we are transforming recruitment and talent management by taking our state-of-the-art 6Sense semantic search and applying it to resumes beyond Monster,” said Sal Iannuzzi, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Monster Worldwide. “Employers can now assess their company’s talent databases in one central location so everyone can be found easily, regardless of their point of origin. This, paired with the benefits of semantic search and analytics, enables companies to be more precise about their talent matching needs, reduce the time and cost of acquiring and managing talent, and improve the quality of hires.”

“Our philosophy on innovation is simple – we focus on products and solutions that deliver breakthrough technology to address a real market need. SeeMore™ is no exception. It solves a complex problem that many employers are facing – not having strategic visibility into their internal and external talent pools because they are using a range of technologies in an increasingly fragmented recruiting environment,” said Darko Dejanovic, EVP, Global CIO and Head of Product for Monster Worldwide.
SeeMore™ is launching at a critical time for recruiters and other HR professionals. According to a recent survey conducted by Monster, 80% of HR professionals are judged by senior leaders on how they measure processes and provide metrics in talent management. One obstacle to success is the overwhelming volume of candidates, as 86% of the respondents say that sorting through a deluge of resumes is a considerable burden on their department.
“Despite continued high levels of unemployment, shortages of key skills remains the top talent acquisition pressure among organizations,” said Mollie Lombardi, Research Director, Human Capital Management at Aberdeen Group. “Talent is critical to power business performance, so the ability to better find, manage and move candidates through the hiring process will be a true differentiator for top performing companies.”
